Project Report | May 29, 2018
To blend in music and paints

By Leila Ismailova | Project Leader

Nastya is being cured by music.

One more child under our care Nastya lives in an orphanage. Due to the disease her muscles are overstressed, she can hardly move, and her left hand does not move at all. Music classes help Nastya develop her muscles.

The girl likes playing musical instruments a lot, that’s why she involuntarily overcomes the strain. During the classes she is supported by her teacher and a volunteer, they help her use her hands more and work out the movements.

The results have appeared in three months already. Nastya learned how to relax her left hand and group both hands when beating the drum.

Currently we are gathering money to give children with serious health deteriorations from the orphanage #4 the chance to do art therapy, to develop and bring back those abilities which the illness has deprived them of, i.e. mobility, independence and strength.

Thank you for supporting our cause!
