In the heart of Diepsloot, where hope and hardship live side by side, we run a trusted community hub - a safe space for children to learn, youth to dream, and women to rise. Through shared facilities and active service desks, we support learning, earning, and community resilience by providing digital access, early learning, education, skills, work readiness, business support, and interventions that open doors and unlock opportunities - leading to brighter futures and lasting change.
In Diepsloot, a dense township on the edge of Johannesburg, limited access to safe learning spaces, digital tools, and essential services continues to entrench poverty and inequality. Early learning is compromised, youth face barriers to education and jobs, and women struggle to grow businesses or access support. This isn't just a poverty issue - it's a lost potential crisis. These challenges are deeply interconnected and most severely felt by those with the fewest options.
We run a community hub where women, youth, children and business owners get the urgent support, information and opportunities they need. Through service desks and shared spaces, we provide hot desks, digital access, education, skills, learning resources, youth job readiness, enterprise support, and referral networks. Our inclusive, hands-on approach builds confidence, opens doors and helps break the cycle of poverty holding Diepsloot back.
Our community hub provides services to 2000 people a month. By supporting children to learn, youth to earn, and women and small businesses to grow, we help create a more resilient, self-reliant, and connected community. Over time, improved access to early learning, education, digital tools, and livelihoods will reduce inequality, strengthen local leadership, and create lasting pathways out of poverty for families in Diepsloot.
