Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, Development Alert has continued supporting vulnerable school children with nutritious meals to help them remain healthy, focused, and engaged in their education.
For children growing up in households experiencing poverty, going to school hungry can make learning extremely difficult. Hunger affects concentration, classroom participation, attendance, and overall wellbeing. Some children may even miss school because they are searching for food.
Through our school feeding activities, Development Alert works with schools and communities to provide meals to children who need them most. The intervention provides immediate nutritional support while encouraging regular school attendance.
Parents have expressed appreciation because school meals reduce some of the pressure on households that struggle to provide enough food every day. Teachers also benefit from having learners who are more attentive and energetic during lessons.
For a child, a school meal is more than food. It can mean staying in class instead of leaving school hungry, concentrating on a lesson, participating in activities, and looking forward to returning to school the following day.
Your generosity is nourishing both bodies and dreams.
Thank you for helping us create a learning environment where vulnerable children can study with dignity, confidence, and hope.
