Thanks to your generous support, Development Alert has continued helping vulnerable children remain in school despite the financial challenges facing their families. In rural Uganda, poverty continues to prevent many children from accessing and completing quality education.

Through our education intervention, we support children with school fees, scholastic materials, uniforms, sponsorship, mentorship, and other essential educational needs. This comprehensive approach helps address the multiple barriers that can force children to drop out.

For many families, paying school fees while simultaneously providing food, healthcare, clothing, and other household necessities is extremely difficult. Your support gives parents relief while allowing children to continue pursuing their dreams.

Children who receive educational assistance are able to attend classes with greater confidence. Having exercise books, pens, mathematical sets, school bags, uniforms, and other materials helps them participate fully in classroom activities without feeling disadvantaged.

Education is one of the strongest pathways out of poverty. Every year a child remains in school represents another opportunity to develop knowledge, skills, confidence, and leadership abilities.
