Thank you so much for ensuring underserved communities continue to have access to clean and safe water in rural areas of Uganda.

With your continued supporter, Development Alert continues to expand access to clean water by repairing non-functional boreholes in underserved communities. We have been able to repair two community boreholes to in Sop Sop Sub County restoring access to safe drinking water for hundreds of households.

Before these repairs, families relied on unsafe water sources, exposing them to diseases such as diarrhea and cholera. With the restoration of boreholes, communities now have reliable access to clean water, improving health and hygiene.

Women and children, who often bear the burden of water collection, are benefiting from reduced travel time, allowing them to focus on education and economic activities. Community members have also been trained on maintenance practices to ensure sustainability.
