Borehole Repair Restoring Access to Clean Water
Development Alert has made significant progress in restoring access to clean water through borehole repair initiatives. Many communities had previously lost access to safe water due to broken or poorly maintained boreholes.
During this reporting period, several boreholes were repaired, bringing relief to hundreds of families.
This intervention has reduced reliance on unsafe water sources and improved health outcomes. Women and children, who often travel long distances to fetch water, now have access to nearby water points.
The repair of boreholes is a cost-effective solution that delivers immediate impact.
Continued donor support will ensure that more communities benefit from reliable water access.
