Empowering Youth Through Tailoring and Livelihood Support
Development Alert continues to create economic opportunities for young people through its tailoring support program. During this reporting period, 10 new sewing machines were distributed to young tailors, along with start-up fabrics to help them begin their businesses.
This support has enabled beneficiaries to generate income, support their families, and build self-confidence. Many of these young people had limited employment opportunities, but now they are actively contributing to their communities.
The provision of tools and materials has bridged a critical gap, allowing them to put their skills into practice. Some beneficiaries have already started attracting customers and expanding their services.
This initiative is not only improving livelihoods but also reducing unemployment among youth. Continued donor support will ensure that more young people can benefit from similar opportunities, creating a ripple effect of economic empowerment.
