Since 2020, Development Alert has worked alongside communities, partners, and supporters to deliver sustainable impact across water, education, livelihoods, health, environment, and social protection. Together, we have achieved significant milestones that continue to transform lives in rural Uganda.

Our integrated approach focuses on addressing immediate needs while building long-term resilience. Through consistent support and community engagement, we have been able to reach thousands of individuals and strengthen systems that improve well-being and opportunity.

Key Achievements Since 2020

• Water Access: Provided permanent and clean water access to over 5,000 people, improving health, hygiene, and daily living conditions.
• Education Support: Supported 1,600+ children with scholastic materials and provided 1,200+ school meals, helping children stay in school, improve attendance, and enhance learning outcomes.
• Livelihood Empowerment: Enabled over 100 rural entrepreneurs to start small businesses, strengthening household incomes and local economic resilience.
• Healthcare Access: Delivered daily basic healthcare services to 50+ individuals in rural communities, improving access to essential medical support.
• Environmental Action: Planted over 14,000+ trees, contributing to climate resilience, environmental restoration, and biodiversity protection.
• Social Protection: Provided direct support to 10 elderly and vulnerable community members, ensuring dignity and basic needs are met.
• Skills Development: Empowered 9 young tailors with sewing machines and start-up materials to establish their own tailoring businesses, creating sustainable income opportunities.
