Supporting the Elderly with Basic Needs and Care
Development Alert remains committed to improving the lives of elderly individuals by providing essential support and care. During this reporting period, over 100 elderly people have received assistance in the form of food supplies, basic household items, and access to healthcare services. Many of these individuals live in challenging conditions, with limited mobility and little or no family support.
Through regular visits, Development Alert has not only provided material assistance but also emotional support, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. Beneficiaries have expressed deep appreciation for the care and attention they receive, which has restored their sense of dignity and belonging. The initiative has also encouraged community members to take an active role in supporting the elderly.
While the impact has been significant, many elderly individuals still remain in need of assistance. Continued donor support will enable Development Alert to expand this program, ensuring that more elderly people can live with dignity, comfort, and security in their later years.

Strengthening School Feeding Programs for Better Learning
Through your continued support, Development Alert’s school feeding program continues to play a critical role in supporting children’s education and well-being. During this reporting period, over 400 children have benefited from regular meals provided at school. This initiative has addressed one of the major barriers to learning—hunger.
Children who once struggled to concentrate in class due to lack of food are now more attentive, active, and engaged. Teachers have observed significant improvements in attendance and academic performance, as students are motivated to attend school regularly. For many beneficiaries, the meal provided at school is the only reliable source of nutrition they receive each day.
In addition to improving learning outcomes, the feeding program has contributed to better health and overall development. Parents have expressed gratitude for the support, as it reduces the burden of providing meals during school hours. Despite these achievements, the demand for feeding programs continues to grow. Continued donor support is essential to sustain and expand this initiative, ensuring that more children can learn in a healthy and supportive environment.

Enhancing Education Through School Supplies Distribution
With your continued support, Development Alert has continued to improve access to education by distributing essential school supplies to children from disadvantaged backgrounds. During this reporting period, beneficiaries received items such as exercise books, pens, school bags, and uniforms. These materials have significantly improved the learning experience for many children who previously attended school without the necessary tools.
Teachers have reported increased participation and engagement among supported learners, as children now feel more confident and prepared for class. The provision of school supplies has also reduced absenteeism, as students are no longer discouraged by a lack of resources. For many families, this support has eased financial pressure, allowing them to prioritize other basic needs.
In addition, the initiative has promoted equality in the classroom, ensuring that all children have the opportunity to learn in a supportive environment. However, the need for scholastic materials remains high, with many children still lacking basic supplies.
