Dear Esteemed friends & Partners,
As we are approaching last quarter of the year 2026 it's with great gratitude I take this opportunity to thank you for continuous support for our school in Githogoro slum. In 2005 we started a makeshift school to give children access to education. In 2019 we started a project dubbed "Help Build a Free Primary School in Nairobi Slums" . The project has done wonders in improving the learning conditions of children and favorable learning atmosphere. Now we have a beautiful made of containers school. The school is built on a rented premises where we pay rent every month. Last year 2025 and this year we have embarked in buying the land for a permanent school. Our permanent school needs 4000 square metres. We have bought the first 1000 square metres at a cost of 45,000 USD. Land in town setup is very expensive, here in Kenya everyone is competing to get one. Our culture everyone invests in land making land demand very high and raising the cost of land.
We have started buying the second 1000 square metres and we are in shortage of 25,000 USD.
Our target is to buy 2000 square metres of land by end of 2026.
We are appealing to our friends and partners to help us raise the 25,000 USD to achieve our goal by 31st December 2026. Our current school has now 300 pupils and we are getting congested in a small space we are looking forward for a bigger space to keep giving children in the slum access to education in a more contusive environment.
