Children living with HIV in Hohoe face serious health, nutritional, and social challenges that affect their well-being and future opportunities. Many vulnerable families struggle to afford proper nutrition, transportation to clinics, medicines, and ongoing medical care for their children. This project will provide healthcare support, nutritional assistance, counseling, and welfare services for children living with HIV in Hohoe.
Children living with HIV require regular medical care, proper nutrition, and emotional support to stay healthy. However, many families in low-income communities face financial hardship and cannot consistently provide the care and support their children need. Stigma and discrimination also prevent some families from seeking timely healthcare and social support services.
This project will support children living with HIV through nutritional support, transportation assistance to clinics, medical monitoring, counseling, and essential welfare services. The project will also provide caregiver education on medication adherence, nutrition, hygiene, and child health management to improve long-term health outcomes.
This project will improve the health, well-being, and quality of life of children living with HIV in Hohoe. It will strengthen treatment adherence, reduce stigma, improve nutritional support, and help vulnerable children live healthier and more stable lives.
