Project Report | Jun 25, 2025
A computer class that changed a child's future

By Tabita Fernandes | Project Leader

After losing his father, Saurabh took on the responsibility of supporting his mother and siblings by working in the fields. With money coming in, school began to feel distant, and Saurabh slowly slipped away from learning.

That’s when CRY stepped in.

We didn’t push; we invited. Saurabh was encouraged to join computer classes, just to explore. His curiosity sparked, and with it, the possibilities of what education could offer. Slowly, he re-enrolled in school and even took up vocational training in Desktop Publishing.

Today, Saurabh is not just back in school, he’s thriving.

He’s become a peer motivator in his community, showing others that education can rewrite futures.

This isn’t just computer class. It’s Saurabh’s second chance.

This is what your support has enabled and we are grateful!
