After the summer break in Argentina we started our classes again last March. The children really love to attend the e-learning program and they naturally embrace new technology. Last year we have been working on teaching them the basics of computing and it has been amazing to see how easy they adopt the digital environment. Connecting to the children is with this program is easy, but a bigger challenge is the children’s illiteracy. Even though they go to school many children still have big problems with reading and writing. It’s good to see that the playful way of education applied in the e-learning program is effectively dealing with this issue.
Based on this success this year we will take the program to a next level. Of course we will keep on using the program as an alternative method for learning, but focus more on self-expression and media-literacy. Besides this we are providing the teachers of the school we are collaborating with e-learning workshops, so they can implement this knowledge in their lessons.
Your help and generous donations made all of this possible, and we are very grateful for this. In order to make help more children we ask you to keep on supporting us by spreading the message or making your donation a monthly-recurring one. This way we will be able to plan better our resources through the year and we can maximize the impact. If you have any question, please drop us a line.
Thanks a lot again and we wish you all the best!
