Help build Kindergarten in Central Java, Indonesia

With your involvement the construction on Sri Mulia Karangtalun Kindergarten has been completed. Srimulia Karangtalun kindergarten is located in Gubug village, at the north side of Cepogo district. Subsidized and legalized under the village authority educational institution, Srimulia Karangtalun was founded in 1985 provided due to its highly needed in the area. For 34 years the school has been operating with the support from dedicated teachers, parents and village community. This year the school accommodates 22 children in a very limited space. Due to the lack of space, teachers need to always organize the room to fit chairs, desks, school supplies as well as storage. The condition creates a stressful teaching environment. Two female teachers have high spirit conducting their daily learning activities. Supported by its stakeholders, Srimulia Karangtalun is believed to help their students to grow and optimize their potential in a better environment ahead.

Construction work had been started on February 17th, 2020, marked by MOU signing on March 2nd, 2020. The construction phase had been completed on June 30th, 2020 with 99,74% progress. Hand over from the foundation to school management had been held on July 1st, 2020. As per completion, general construction works has reach the following: 100% for base structure (building foundation, floor beam structure and floor leveling) and upper structure up to roof structures

100% for wall covering installation (brick wall for outside building perimeter and room separation).

100% for windows-door frame including anti-termite painting, paint-finished

100% floor structure, leveling and concrete surface works

100% of roofing, include roof coverings and tiles. Roof covering works includes ceiling installation which is supported by PT. USG Boral Plasterboard.

100% sanitation, plumbing, electrical and mechanical installation under floor level and inside wall had been done. Water supply from village water outlet is connected to upper reservoir (water tank) that has been put under roof closures

100% fence work, include the expansion of site due to insufficient space to handle building length 100% landscape works and outdoor playground.

0,26% of work that has not been executed is mural painting. Due to the evaluation result on previous school project (2019 school projects), the use of oil-based paint could not blend smoothly when it applied on semi-dry wall surface; mural painting process is suggested to be implemented at least 2 months after completion of construction works. During that period of time, the wall surface and its down-layer has reach 90% dryness. It is planned to be executed on August 2020. From the starting date, construction phase in TK Srimulia Karangtalun has been completed in total 17 weeks.
