ars86care foundation is an Indonesian based foundation which focuses on the environment, children and education spesifically early childhood education. We have long been an advocate for children's right to a proper access to early childhood education. This year our project will help children from Sri Mulia Karangtalun Kindergarten gain a proper school building which has been in poor physicall condition since it's establishment in 1985.
Sri Mulia Karangtalun Kindergarten is located in Karangtalun Village, Boyolali, Central Java, Indonesia. The school was first established in 1985, since then the school had never undergo any significant renovation to save the building from slowly collapsing. The school is currently in a very bad physical condition, with collapsed roof, limited space for children to learn, and no access to a proper playground area for the children.
ars86care foundation, through it's space to build program focuses on helping Kindergarten Village across Central Java to gain proper access to early childhood education. In one of the program's earliest assesment process, Sri Mulia Karangtalun has met the criteria of a kindergarten worth helping. With two dedicated teachers and strong community support we are hopeful to give a child friendly school for these children.
The school is now barely surviving after 34 years of having to maintain itself without any significant help. The teachers, students, and school as well as village community deserve a place for their future generation to have a safe space for them to learn and play. ars86care foundation is delivering them that long term solution through this project.
