This year has been a challenge due to Covid – 19 pandemic. The government announced closure abruptly and all the students had to go home. The year started well, we had 25 new students who had joined the school, 15 second year students and 20 had gone for a three months internship.
The reopening of the school is unknown but we are waiting for the government to give us the way forward. We are trying our best to communicate with the students to practice the measures set by the government seriously. It is hard reach out to them because gathering are not allowed and technology is still down in the rural areas.
We are also conducting feeding program through food distribution because most of our students depend on the meals provided at the school. They are struggling because most of them live on a dollar per day which can’t buy them food at the moment. The cost of food stuff is high and most of the families in the community can’t afford. We are doing what we can to help them have at least a meal a day.
We can’t stop thanking those who are still sending their donations during this hard times. We are able to do what we are doing because of your generosity. Kindly share the good work you are doing with friends and family. Thank and stay safe,
