We have made great strides over these past few months to move the project along. Recently, the Hellenic Ball event in Nassau agreed to donate around $22,000 to the project. In addition, the Atlantis Hotel agreed to donate $10,000. We are now fundraising for just the materials needed to construct the center!
The architectural plans are being finalized shortly, and with more monetary support we can begin building as soon as Fall 2014. In addition, this July I along with a few volunteers will be running many different programs for the many children in the area where the future center will be built. Activities include: marine science, swimming, and reading programs.
Please continue to spread the word about the project, and share any ideas you may have to help further the project. Thank you.
