Thanks to your generosity, Global Water Challenge (GWC) and women for water are able to support DigDeep’s Navajo Water Project. Together, we are installing Home Water Systems for families in the Navajo Nation who previously lacked the sinks, bathtubs or toilets are often taken for granted.
By providing sustainable water to these communities, this high-impact partnership is transforming the lives of so many, like Gladys, who has never had running water in the home she has lived in for the past three years. Before receiving her Home Water System, her only way to access water was by hauling it from the local church. This task was both time-consuming and expensive for Gladys to maintain.
Gladys is excited to take a warm shower and hopes to use the money she has saved treating herself to a nice meal. GWC and DigDeep are happy to share her gratitude with you. She personally thanks everyone that has contributed to the project, and hopes they continue to help others!
