Thanks to your generosity, Global Water Challenge (GWC) and women for water are able to support DigDeep’s Navajo Water Project. Together, we are installing Home Water Systems for families in the Navajo Nation who previously lacked the sinks, bathtubs or toilets that the rest of us often take for granted.
By providing sustainable water to these communities, this high-impact partnership is transforming the lives of so many, like Arlene, who has never had running water in her home. Before receiving her Home Water System, Arlene had to drive to her mother’s house, fill up buckets of water, and drive home. This process was time consuming and unsustainable for Arlene and her family.
Arlene is excited to no longer worry about making water runs on her way home from work. Instead, she plans on using the extra time and money to buy gas and food.
GWC and DigDeep are happy to share Arlene’s gratitude with you. She and her two daughters are so happy to have running water and they thank you for your donation!
