We have worked hard in the past three months to complete the water system at New Tufoi. Donations received from some of our friends in the last few months have helped us to procure an electric pump and a water tank to complete work on the water system for the community. The new water system is being provided to communities with electricity. New Tufoi, which has a population of about 300 people are now happy to access clean water. Women and children of the community believe the water system would impact positively in their day to day live. We are still working hard to also complete work on Praso Twansukoda community by installing an electric pump and water tank to complete it. We have as well started to drill two new boreholes for communities at Agona Mapong and Agona Besiase. We therefore need your continue support and donations to make clean water accessible to our target communities.

We were lucky to have a GlobalGiving team member to visit our project in May 2017. The team member who spent two days in Twifu helped us to understand many things on the GlobalGiving especially on what to do to gain the Superstar status. We are very grateful to her.

We have worked hard to complete work on the two outstanding Wells with funds received recently. In actual fact, we need about $3,000 to procure and install the two pumps required. The two beneficiary communities New Tufoi and Praso Twansukoda, have supported work on the project and are anxious to access water from the new Wells.

We need your support to make this possible. We are therefore calling all our cherish donors, family and friends to donate to our project to enable us complete the two outstanding Wells. Ama Boatenmaa (not real name) and her 6 children who are very happy about the project and other 500 members of the communities are eagerly waiting to access clean water from the Wells, which they believe would improve their lives.

Donate now, we are looking forward.

The project communities we serve are crying and looking forward to have access to clean water. We are presently in the dry season and access to water is hard to come by. We have managed to complete almost all the works on the outstanding Wells and we need hand pumps to complete these Wells at New Tufoi and Praso Twansukoda. Ama Boatenmaa (not real name) and her 6 children at New Tufoi are very eager to see the day that water would flow from the Well we are constructing in their community.

We are therefore calling on all of our cherish donors to help us acquire the hand pumps to complete these Wells in the shortest possible time. Your valuable donations are seriously needed this time. We are looking forward.

We want to indicate that more communities are eager to have access to clean water in our targeted project area. So far 15 Hand Dug Wells has been completed with the help of your various donations and the communities’ contributions since the beginning of the project. About 3,750 people are presently benefiting from these Wells. Work on the 2 outstanding Wells under construction is about 60% completed and we need your support and donations to make this possible. We need hand pumps and some materials to do the concrete covers and aprons to enable us complete the Wells.

The 2 project communities to benefit from the completion of these Wells are very anxious to see that water is flowing from the Wells before the next dry season, which starts by end of November every year. We are therefore appealing to all our cherish donors, family and friends to donate once again to help us achieve our aim.

The people of Kyerekum community has been eager and anxious to see that the work we started as far back November 2014 is completed for them to have access to clean water. For this reason, the community supported the activities of the Well construction by contributing enormously by providing some of the needed materials and labour from the onset to see that the work is completed. As at the end of the last quarter, work on the Well was completed including concrete lining and the apron on the Well. We were left with the water pump, which was needed to complete the Well and other ones that are ready and ongoing.

One (1) hand pump was purchased in early June 2016 with proceed from funds raised in the local churches In April and May 2016 specifically to complete the Well. Presently, the entire population of 250 people of Kyerekum community is now accessing water from the new Well. Some Wells are still outstunding and hand pumps are needed to complete them.

We are therefore appealing for our cherish donors to help us to complete the outstanding wells by donating to our project.
