DEAR ANIMALIX FAMILY!
January-May 2025
From January to May 2025, we were able to sponsor three campaigns where 501 spaying and neutering surgeries were performed on cats and dogs. These operations were made possible thanks to your donations, the support of the Calle Cero Foundation of Guadalajara, local businesses, and approximately 50 volunteers. This effort has prevented the overpopulation of hundreds of unwanted animals, whose lives are almost always tragic. The first campaign took place on February 17, the second on April 12, and the third on May 17 and 18.
Medical expenses were covered for Negrito's surgery, which required the removal of his entire reproductive system due to advanced cancer (TVT). Canelita was malnourished and had a bruised right eye that had to be removed. Joya was treated for her multiple problems: starvation, malnutrition, mange, and tumors, and sadly passed away. The first two are in foster homes awaiting adoption. In addition, 15 other free medical consultations were provided to animals in need, through collaboration with the Luis Mario Méndez (veterinarian)
As part of our activism for animals, we organized and participated in two marches, on February 27 in Tuxtla Gutierrez and on March 22 in San Cristobal de Las Casas. Both marches focused on defending animal rights and denouncing and demanding an end to poisonings and animal cruelty in the state of Chiapas.
We remain active on our social media platforms, sharing information, advice, reports of lost dogs and cats, and other posts promoting animal welfare.

¡QUERIDA FAMILIA ANIMALIX!
Enero-mayo 2025
Del mes de enero al mes de mayo de 2025, pudimos patrocinar tres campañas donde se realizaron 501 cirugías de castración y esterilización de gatos y perros, las cuales han sido posibles gracias a sus donaciones, el apoyo de la Fundación Calle Cero de Guadalajara, algunos empresarios locales y aproximadamente 50 voluntarios. Con lo anterior, hemos evitado la sobrepoblación de cientos animales no deseados, cuyo final es casi siempre trágico. La primera campaña se realizó el 17 de febrero, la segunda el 12 de abril y la tercera el 17 y 18 de mayo.
Se cubrieron los gastos médicos para de la cirugía de Negrito, a quien se le tuvo que retirar todo el aparato reproductor debido a un cáncer muy avanzado (TVT). Canelita estaba desnutrida y tenía un golpe ojo derecho que tuvo extirparse. A Joya se le atendió de sus múltiples problemas: inanición, desnutrición, sarna y tumores, lamentablemente falleció. Los dos primeros están en hogares temporales en espera de ser adoptados. Asimismo, se otorgaron otras 15 consultas médicas gratuitas a animales que lo necesitaban, a través de la colaboración con el MVZ. Luis Mario Méndez.
Como parte de nuestro activismo en favor de los animales, convocamos y participamos en 2 marchas, el 27 de febrero en Tuxtla Gutiérrez y el 22 de marzo en San Cristóbal de Las Casas. Ambas tuvieron como consigna la defensa de los derechos de los animales, la denuncia y la exigencia de parar los envenenamientos y la crueldad animal en el estado de Chiapas.
