Help a Young Widow's Self Business and Dignity

I, Chellamma (38), is sincerely thanking you on behalf ROSI FOUNDATION and its staff and volunteers for providing skill training, rights and other welfare activities for widow women. Your support is causing for 25 women’s tailoring training and income generation. They have to work and earn for their needs and get economical sustainability. 6 women are doing own business and earning by sewing machines provided by ROSI FOUNDATION and 10 are working in garments company and earning. Now their children are going to school from dropout condition. So the programme is run by your support. Without your support, these are not possible because fund is important for our training and sewing machine support.  

I am belonging to poor family at destitute condition belonging to Arkattudurai village. It is with a distance of 3KM to Vedaranyam town. My husband dropped us with my children. It was difficult to send them to school and get food after my husband. Each and everywhere we felt darkness. In other side, I faced so many sex torture and abuses when tried for working outside.  In this condition, ROSI FOUNDATION gave tailoring training, sewing machine and marketing support from your generous donation. Now I am earning daily $2.5, which is sufficient for my family running and children studying.

I with my family members thank you for saving me from hunger, abuses and education to our children. We pray for you and family “God will give good health and happy and opportunities to help more women like me.

I make another obligation as request “you can erase hunger and poverty of several families and find smiles in their faces and life. You may spend your rest time to spread the work and important of supports though phone, e-mail, social media, etc. you may inspire your friends, colleagues, community and families explaining the importance and need of the programme.
