Help 90 young Colombians become nurse technicians

Dear Donor I would love to share with you the experience of Sara in the Institute

// It makes me very happy to know that thanks to the Hospital Pablo Tobón Uribe I will be able to fulfill one of my biggest dreams. The opportunity of being part of the educational process of the institute means to me something very hard to explain since, I have been chosen between a lot of people to be trained and implement my knowledge in the most human way to help those who need it the most without getting much in return, and in this way, start changing the world with small actions.

The word gratitude is not enough to say what I feel to all those who have been with me through this essential process for my personal, social and educational development. I feel that my life has taken the best path since I study at the institute, I have become the best version of myself and none of that would have been possible without the help of the Pablo Tobón Uribe Education Institute.

The institute train us academically and personally and this is something that I must emphasize because nursing is not only based on academic concepts, it is also important to learn how to be a good person, to be human and most importantly to be aware of the pain that others feel.

I should bring to light something that I consider one of the most important things of the institute and is the wisdom we received every day from all the collaborators and our teachers trough the way they explain, their kindness and patience when they repeat and the great generosity that characterizes them, they motivate us always to be better, so we can achieve the excellence.

We want to share the experiences in the institute of two students, Maria Camila and Laura were part of the  27 group. 

"Be accepted in the institute was a big achievement to me and my family; I knew that the education would be wonderful in the institute with the Hospital Pablo Tobon Uribe like leader, a Hospital committed with the service and care for their patients.

Be in the institute opened many doors in my life; me and my family had had economic issues and now I know that I´m going to have a job, I was really happy about it. I´m grateful because I found a complete formation, in the “be, know and do”.
