Ongoing conflict in Bawku has displaced many families from their homes, leaving vulnerable women, children, and elderly people without safe shelter, food, healthcare, and basic necessities. Many displaced families are struggling to survive in temporary shelters and overcrowded conditions after losing their homes, livelihoods, and personal belongings. This project will provide emergency relief, food aid, shelter support, and essential services for 500 families displaced by the conflict in Bawku.
The continued conflict in Bawku has forced many families to flee their communities for safety. Displaced households often face hunger, overcrowding, poor sanitation, emotional trauma, and limited access to healthcare and clean water. Many families have lost their income sources, farms, businesses, and educational opportunities for their children, making recovery extremely difficult without external support.
This project will provide emergency food supplies, temporary shelter materials, clothing, hygiene kits, clean water support, and healthcare assistance for displaced families. The project will also support vulnerable children and women with psychosocial support, educational materials, and referrals for additional protection and care services.
This project will improve living conditions and provide critical relief for 500 displaced families affected by the Bawku conflict. It will reduce hunger and health risks, support recovery and stability for vulnerable households, and help affected families rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
