Your donation will support Inner-city students from Africa, the Caribbean, and the USA to go from average or struggling with their grades to honor roll through our Award Winning enrichment programs. We aim to resolve the Educational and Excellence Gap in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) for marginalized under-served children ages 5 to 18 years old. Long-term they are steered toward careers in STEAM. Imagine the impact your donation would have on their future!
Our organization works to resolve the Educational and Excellence Gap, defined as the differences between subgroups of students performing at the highest level of achievement. Inequity in education is pervasive across all academic levels for the under-served marginalized students. These students do not have the exposure to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) as such they are left behind. This impacts their ability to compete and attain future high-paying jobs in STEAM.
IlluminXation Inc.'s Award Winning programs are intended to support students experiencingsignificant disengagementfrom school to take ownership of their education and excel. We incorporate alternative approaches to traditionallearning which include visual and performing arts. Here they learn how to apply information which enables them to critically think, build confidence, communicate effectively, collaborate creatively with their peers in teams, and build ethical characteristics.
IlluminXation Inc.'s current programs include Human Body Exhibit, and Cancer Smancer Reimagined-Living Our Best Sustainable Life enrichment; tutoring; and test prep. When delivered in elementary and middle school, our accelerated instructional offerings have the capacity to prepare students to excel in school (including those who are struggling academically or come from marginalized, under-served homes) and gain careers in STEAM gradually helping them to build their wealth and welfare.
