Project Report | Oct 30, 2023
Support the BAORD for Children.

By Dr. Majed Khalil | Program Manager

Every day in countries around the iraq, BAORD steps in to defend the rights of children in conflict of the law. UNICEF estimates that 1 million children are detained each year but the true number is likely much higher, given poor record keeping in prisons in many countries. The effect of incarceration on the lives of children is catastrophic – removing them from education and from their families, and often creating lifelong trauma. Without due process, most of these children will languish in detention while awaiting trial, sometimes for years, lost in broken justice systems.

Our organization implemented recreational and legal programs for children for 90 children suffering from marginalization and psychological trauma and returned them to school. School clothes and stationery were also distributed.
Our organization implemented school sponsorship for 40 orphan children and distributed 80 food baskets to orphans and marginalized people.

Donate today and help us achieve our mission to make sure all children have the opportunity to live to their full potential.

Your tax-deductible contribution will allow more children to have the tools they need to be educated, safe and healthy, and thus become changemakers in their communities.
