Dear Supporters,
The “Help 300 Women in Bamenda Affected by Crisis” project was initiated to empower crisis-affected women in Bamenda with livelihood support, trauma healing, and basic needs. However, due to limited financial resources, significant implementation has been delayed. While some groundwork has been laid including the identification of beneficiaries, community sensitization, and preliminary planning full-scale activities such as vocational training, psychosocial support sessions, and distribution of livelihood kits have not yet been executed. The current economic hardship and ongoing insecurity in the region have further compounded the challenges of securing local resources.
Despite the slow progress, the project team remains committed and optimistic. We continue to engage the women through periodic check-ins and maintain strong community partnerships to ensure readiness once funding allows. As donations come in, we are prepared to activate our phased plan, prioritizing the most urgent needs and gradually expanding impact. We are grateful to our supporters and GlobalGiving for the platform, and we appeal to donors to help us restore dignity and hope to these 300 resilient women.
Thank you.
