Project Report | Oct 10, 2019
See first-hand how unpaid carers benefit from activities!

By Mark Bradford | Project Leader

In our last report we highlighted the activities Carers Network ran for unpaid carers during Carers Week.

At a Carers Festival we hosted during the week Lina, who is a unpaid carer in Westminster, produced a fantastic video as a document of the day.

You can watch it here.

We hope you enjoy the film and can see the real impact that an event such as this with health & wellbeing and creative activities has on carers attending!

As well as providing a break from caring duties similar such opportunities can help prevent social isolation.

By generously donating to this project we will be able to provide more similar such activities for carers.

From funds raised so far we will be able to offer 26 carers the opportunity to take part in a bespoke health and wellbeing training course or to run 5 skill share sessions where carers can learn from each other.

Thank you again for your support.
