Update on the progress report on

By Akaraonye Samuel ifeanyi | Founder/CEO

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to GlobalGiving and our cherished donors for your continued belief in our mission. Your unwavering support fuels our drive to build a future where every Nigerian youth has access to the tools and training they need to thrive. We are especially grateful for the opportunity to submit this quarterly report, reflecting both our recent milestones and new strategic directions aimed at deepening our impact.

Progress Overview

In this reporting period, the Train 150 Youths in Vocational Skills in Nigeria initiative continues to transform lives through capacity building, technical education, and entrepreneurship development. Our collaboration with local vocational centers and mentorship from skilled professionals has empowered more youths with hands-on skills across sectors including fashion design, welding, ICT, baking, and phone repairs.

New Development: Partnership with Isidore CompetitivAI Avatar

We are thrilled to announce our innovative partnership with Isidore CompetitivAI Avatar, an AI-powered assistant integrated into our operations to enhance training, mentorship, and learning. Through this partnership:

Trainees can now access interactive AI tools for personalized coaching, virtual classroom simulations, and real-time feedback.

The AI will support vocational course digitization, making skills training more flexible and accessible.

The system will assist with data collection, monitoring trainees’ progress, and improving impact evaluation.

This transformative collaboration will elevate the quality of our vocational education and position our beneficiaries for success in Nigeria’s rapidly evolving job market.

Samony Youth Academy (SYA®) – Empowering the Next Generation

We have also inaugurated the Samony Youth Academy (SYA®) as an incubation and empowerment hub under this initiative. SYA® provides:

A structured pathway for skills development

Linkages with local industries for internships and apprenticeship

A post-training support system including mentorship and access to business grants

A digital learning space powered by our CompetitivAI tools

SYA® is not just a training ground, but a springboard for transforming raw talent into employable and entrepreneurial youth who can lead change in their communities.

Financial Overview

The current funding needs for this project include:

Tuition fees for vocational courses

Scholarships for participants enrolled in the EBU certificate program

Training equipment and learning kits

Transport and logistics for outreach and onsite workshops

We are actively seeking additional funding and sponsorships to expand the reach and deepen the quality of our interventions. While funding is still limited, we continue to operate with strategic partnerships and resource optimization.

Conclusion and Next Steps

The impact of this initiative is already evident in the transformed lives of our youth beneficiaries. Through strategic collaborations such as with the European Business University of Luxembourg (EBU) and the integration of Isidore CompetitivAI, we are scaling our vision.

Next Steps:

Expand training to new communities

Integrate AI tools deeper into course delivery and follow-up

Grow the number of students at Samony Youth Academy (SYA®)

Strengthen job placement and microenterprise startup support

We remain committed to breaking the cycle of poverty by equipping our youth with the skills and confidence to shape their own future.

Thank You

To our donors, partners, and the GlobalGiving community, we say a big thank you. Your support is the foundation of every success story we tell. Together, we will continue to build a Nigeria where no youth is left behind.

Warm regards,

Sam Onyemaechi Humanitarian Foundation (SOHF)
