Summary

The aim of this project is to inspire, provide respite and joy to our teaming youths. We have a deep and abiding passion to inspire, fight cultural amnesia, and diminish the mindsets of scarcity that have kept our people in generational poverty. The poverty we are attacking with our intentionality goes beyond the material. We want to recover the essence of our youths through the offering of vocational training and innovative so as to actualize their potentials.

Challenge

Owing to bad governance and social issues around extreme generational poverty, violence and unemploymen, a sense of dread is felt as family structures have deteriorated due to civic failures and hardship. Youths, especially in Southeast, Nigeria are underserved without access to community spaces. Many feel lost yet unable to connect with outmoded education systems. There are no social workers or therapists, and no support programs exist to increase quality of life, confidence and mental wellbeing.

Solution

Sam Onyemaechi aimed at, to love and care in action. We create deliberate interventions to support our communities in increasing skill and resiliency, connecting them to their power, consciousness and confidence. Our programs offer tools for vulnerable youths to sustain not only their creativity, but their holistic development and future livelihoods. We cultivate an environment of transformation, solidarity and kinship, a safe space where respect, positive thinking and collaboration is core.

Long-Term Impact

There's joy seeing youths emerge from their cocoons, growing and trusting themselves more. We see them claim their confidence and culture, being unafraid to step into their full potentials. We aimed to see youths explore pathways to freedom, expressions and possibilities. Their voices, movements, curiosity and dreams expand without limit. Youth become their brother and sisters' keeper; awakening their essence, identity and super powers. This seismic shift has the potential to transform future.
