Dear supporters,
We are happy to share that thanks to John G. from the new GlobalGiving Volunteers platform we already have professionally created logo of the House of Children!
John learned about the Children's House from the new volunteer site of the GlobalGiving donation platform. We have posted our challenge there asking for support in new logo creation. Here is the link to our challenge: https://globalgiving.sparked.com/ask/Logo-needed-for-the-House-of-Children#answer_176748476
Once taking the challenge, John G., a professional designer and volunteer, had created for our project several black and white visuals of logos. After short internal voting, we have chosen 4 of them: A, D, F and G. Do you feel curious what were they? You can see all four of them as attachments to this letter:). Then we organized a public opinion poll through the ServeyMonkey site. We wanted to find what people think and what logo they would like the most. Here is the link to our poll: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WW7ZZRY
For more than two weeks people voted for their best choice and thus we reached the final decision which logo will be The One. Once the most preferred logo was chosen, John developed it in Cyrillic letters.(this is how we write in Bulgarian:) You can see our brand new logo in Cirillic attached. Now we are looking forward the color variant of our fantastic logo. This will become the official logo of the Children's House during its construction.
We would like to use the opportunity to thank John for the splendid logos and for his generosity to dedicate his time and professional skill to the idea of Children’s house in Bulgaria – unknown country for John till now. "Children's House" is aproject of the National Network for Children and its construction is planned to start at the end of this year. The Children's House is going to be a place for learning more children’s rights and learning how to apply them. The decision to build a Children's House as a center for protection and education of children in their rights was taken at the General Assembly of the Network in 2014. Two years later, with the support of the foundations OAK and VELUX, the National Network for Children was able to acquire a land in the center of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. At the very moment, we still are on the track to acquire all documentation needed for the start of the constructions. And, we keep our focus on it!
Thank you supporting us during this long way to the aim!
