In Kibera, education represents hope and the possibility of a different future.
Every year, children complete their primary education with big dreams of joining secondary school. They dream of becoming teachers, doctors, engineers, leaders and professionals who can transform their lives and the society around them.
However, for many families in Kibera, the transition from primary to secondary school comes with a difficult reality. The cost of school fees, uniforms, books, transport and other essential items can make continuing with education very challenging.
We have witnessed the difference that education can make in a child's life. Through our Secondary School Support Programme, we want to walk alongside deserving students from Kibera as they take this important next step.
Your support can help provide the essentials a child needs to remain in school and focus on their education.
