Help 1000 children affected by flooding in Kazakhstan! More than 60 cities and settlements are currently in the flood zone. Many are completely cut off from the outside world due to the powerful floodwaters. Over 100,000 residents, including more than 39,000 children, have been evacuated and are now in temporary shelters.
In April 2024, 9 regions of Kazakhstan were affected by severe floods. A state of emergency is in effect in these regions. Residents were forced to leave their homes with only the essentials. 111,256 people, including 39,222 children, have been evacuated from disaster areas. This is the largest natural disaster in the past 80 years. The disaster has brought the country together, with citizens also participating in collecting humanitarian aid for flood victims.
The Republican Educational and Rehabilitation Center "Baldauren" in the city of Konyaev is hosting children from the flood-affected regions of Kazakhstan: 100 children every 20 days. A total of 1000 children will be coming to them. They are in need of humanitarian aid: clothing, shoes, underwear, hygiene products, school supplies for studying at the school located in the "Baldauren" center.
By providing children with basic humanitarian aid such as clothing and hygiene products, we help them handle this stressful period more easily. With school supplies, they will be able to continue their education. Your support will give them the confidence that even in the toughest situations in life, the whole world is ready to help them
