Project Report | Jun 2, 2025
What We Have Accomplished Together In 2025

By Thelma Sithole | Project Leader

Kids At Our Primary School
Kids At Our Primary School

We are excited to share the progress we’ve made at Beautiful Beginnings Primary School. Our mission is to provide quality, holistic education to children in underserved communities—and we are thrilled to report that, thanks to your continued support, that mission is becoming a reality.

This report is both a celebration of what we have accomplished together and a heartfelt thank you to all our supporters who have walked this journey with us.

Student Enrollment (2025 Academic Year)

We are proud to be growing steadily. This year, we are serving 162 students:

  • Creche: 10

  • ECD A: 48

  • ECD B: 48

  • Grade 1: 35

  • Grade 2: 21

This growth reflects the trust that local families have placed in our school and the value they see in our education program.

Our Dedicated Team

To support our learners, we now have:

  • 1 Headmaster

  • 8 Teachers

  • 3 Cooks

  • 1 Cleaner

  • 5 SDC (School Development Committee) members – made up of committed and engaged parents

Our team continues to show great passion and commitment to giving each child the best start in life.

Technology and Infrastructure

  • We are thrilled to announce that we now have 10 computers and Starlink internet access, enabling our students to begin learning basic computer skills—an important part of preparing them for the modern world.

  • Computer literacy classes have been introduced and are enthusiastically received by both students and staff.

  • Construction is currently underway for our third school block, which will include:

    • 3 additional classrooms

    • A kitchen

    • A staff room

    • A reception area

    • A headmaster’s office

This development will further improve our capacity to provide a safe, functional, and inspiring learning environment.

Nutrition & Welfare

We continue to run a feeding program that ensures every child begins the day with a nutritious bowl of porridge. For many of our learners, this is a crucial part of their daily nutrition and plays a significant role in improving concentration and performance in class.

Extracurricular Achievement

On March 15, 2025, our school proudly participated in a Primary School Athletics Competition. We are especially proud to report that one of our Grade 2 students won a gold medal, a remarkable achievement that brought joy and pride to our entire school and community!

Looking Ahead

While much has been accomplished, our vision continues to grow. The new school block will allow us to accommodate more learners and provide improved working spaces for our staff. We are also exploring new ways to strengthen our curriculum, expand extracurricular programs, and deepen our impact in the community.

None of this would be possible without your generous support. From the first brick to the latest computer, every resource has been a building block in the future of these children. Your commitment to rural education is changing lives—thank you for walking with us.

We look forward to continuing this journey with you as we build brighter beginnings for every child who walks through our gates.

With gratitude,
Thelma
