This project will help 100 teenage mothers in Ghana return to school by providing school fees, learning materials, and childcare support. Many young mothers drop out due to financial hardship and lack of support after childbirth. By removing these barriers, the project will give them a second chance at education, helping them build better futures for themselves and their children.
Teenage mothers in Ghana often face stigma, financial challenges, and childcare responsibilities that force them to drop out of school. Without education, they struggle to find stable employment and are more likely to remain in poverty. Many lack the support needed to return to school, leaving them and their children vulnerable to long-term hardship.
This project will support 100 teenage mothers by covering school fees, providing uniforms and learning materials, and offering childcare support to enable them to attend classes. It will also provide mentorship and counseling to help them stay in school and succeed. By addressing both financial and social barriers, the project will ensure that participants can continue their education without interruption.
By helping teenage mothers return to school, this project will improve their chances of gaining employment and achieving financial independence. Educated mothers are better able to care for their children, reducing the risk of poverty for the next generation. The project will also help reduce stigma and promote inclusion, encouraging more young mothers to continue their education.
