High in the mountains of Honduras, a military base is located. 287 men and 3 women serve there. There are many problems with the base as the government can not afford to provide for their needs.
One of their needs are blankets, as it is cold in the mountains. Their greatest need is protein. We have been spending alot of time at the base. Acquired their menus. Purchased food items needed at this time.
We have started a double blind study providing the subjects with 62 grams of protein daily and the control group receives hersheys chocolate as they look the same. At the beginning of the project we repaired the obstacle course. We tested the subjects in running, sit ups and push ups and timed them in the running of the course. The retesting is due October 25th after 3 months of altering their protein intake.
The results will be taken to the general first, he is already aware of the project. After that review we will present the findings to the President of Honduras. This will hopefully result in a addition to more natural protein in the soldiers food on a daily basis.
