Healthcare for 96 Women&Children Violence Victims

In the context of the Covid 19 pandemic, the actions of this project had to be modified and framed in the context of the health emergency derived from the Covid-19 pandemic and after it, given the social impact that is being caused In human rights, particularly, in economic, social and cultural rights, they have been harmed in an exacerbated way in the region that we inhabit in the State of Guerrero, Mexico, so they had to analyze how to modify the format of the activities planned continue providing assistance and rehabilitation measures as part of psychosocial care for victims of violence, respecting the sanitary measures recommended by health authorities to prevent new infections of Covid 19.

During March virtual meetings were held by the work team to design the necessary modifications to the activities; It was then decided to carry out only the individual therapy follow-up sessions via telephone.

In the months of April, May and June, 30, 27 and 31 victims were attended by telephone respectively.

Through this program it is intended to restore the emotional condition of the victims, psychosocial intervention being of vital importance since they have developed chronic degenerative diseases due to the emotional burden they suffer as a result of the victimizing act.

On the other hand, a strengthening and training session was carried out for the team that is implementing the psychosocial intervention, detecting the need to develop a guide for physical and emotional self-care in times of crisis that is culturally appropriate to be distributed among victims of violence that is approaching our center. The trainings are fundamental pillars for the professional growth of the victims' companions since through these they seek to strengthen their learning and tools to offer adequate comprehensive care.

The names of the beneficiaries are omitted, as well as their photos for reasons of confidentiality and security.
