On 21 February 2025 a health camp was organized for the villages nearby Ananda and the aim was to provide essential medical services and raise health awareness among the villagers. The camp was organised in collaboration with a prominent health care provider of Gurugram and it was attended by healthcare professionals, local authorities, and volunteers.
The objectives of the health camp were:
To offer free medical check-ups to the villagers,to provide essential medicines and healthcare resources,to educate the community about preventive healthcare.
The camp was attended by 316 villagers, including men, women, and children. A team of 13 healthcare professionals, including doctors facilitated the event.
Free consultations by general practitioners and specialists were offered, covering areas such as paediatrics, gynaecology, orthopaedics, cardiology, ophthalmology and general medicine. Screening of hypertension, diabetes and eye were conducted and essential medications were provided at no cost.
Awareness sessions on preventive healthcare, hygiene practices, nutrition, and management of common diseases were conducted. Interactive discussions helped villagers to ask questionsand clear doubts.Dental hygiene was discussed with free dental check-ups by the dentist.
The health camp had several positive outcomes:
316 individuals received free health check-ups
Essential medications were distributed
Free of cost ECG and blood sugar tests were done
The event helped building community spirit and encouraged collaboration between healthcare professionals and villagers.
The health camp was an important step for improving healthcare access and awareness in the villages surrounding Ananda. The collaboration between healthcare providers, organisers and the local community showed the importance of such initiatives.
