From September 20 to now, the project has implemented the following activities:
- Operated the project's official fanpage at: https://www.facebook.com/davmvb. This is not only a place to provide information and knowledge, but also a channel to provide online counseling services on nutritional care, reproductive health and mental health for employees. In addition to signing contracts with experts in nutrition, psychology and reproductive health, two psychology students were also recruited to provide online counseling services through fanpage.
- Published articles on mass media to provide knowledge and skills on nutrition care, reproductive health and mental health for employees.
- Awarded an additional support package worth 200,000 VND (~$8.5) to 100 employees who received the first support in Ha Nam province, and handed over the full support package to 150 other workers bringing the total number of employees receiving cash support package worth 500,000 VND/person (~ $ 21.3/person) in Ha Nam province to 250. In Vinh Phuc province, 100km away to the north, 250 workers with difficult circumstances and affected by Covid-19 also received a similar cash support package.
- Supported for treatment costs at the rate of 10,000,000 VND/person (~ $ 425.3/person) for 05 workers infected with Covid-19 with serious underlying diseases in Vinh Phuc province (in the near future, 05 workers in Ha Nam will also receive similar support).
- Organized 01 training session for 40 trade union officials of enterprises on psychological first aid and providing information on nutrition for workers.
- Organized 07 communication sessions for employees working in factories - industrial parks in the two provinces of Ha Nam and Vinh Phuc, each session attracted from 100 to 150 workers.
In addition to the activities mentioned above, in the next time, the project will continue to carry out the following activities:
- Health examination and counseling for about 800 workers in Ha Nam province.
- Organize the remaining 04 communication sessions for employees.
- Support for treatment costs for 05 workers infected with Covid-19 with serious underlying diseases in Ha Nam province.
- Contests and conference summarizing the project.
Regarding attracting funding on GlobalGiving, from May 24, 2022 to January 9, 2023, the project received 07 donations worth $ 530 from 04 sponsors. This is a valuable contribution to help the project have more resources to implement meaningful activities for employees.
