On July 29, a ceremony was held in Ha Nam to give employees support packages. This is phase 5 of the project "For mother and baby - For Vietnamese stature" by For Vietnamese Stature (VSF) and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Pham Ngoc Long, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, Trinh Van Vung, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Confederation, Pham Thi Thu Giang, Vice President of the Provincial Labor Confederation, Nguyen Minh Hoang, Program Manager, For Vietnamese Stature, donors, press agencies, and 100 employees in Ha Nam province participated in the program.
At the ceremony, 100 support packages were distributed to employees raising children in tough circumstances, particularly those in industrial zones afflicted by COVID. Each support package includes 300,000 VND in cash plus condoms, birth control pills, and personal hygiene goods from Golden Choice and Hoa Linh Pharmaceuticals for health care and f amilyization.
This package will help workers gain access to better healthcare by providing them with financial assistance and online coaching on diet, psychology, and reproductive health without charge. According to the plan, the project will continue to give 100 support packages to employees of Vinh Phuc province in August.
Previously, on July 3 in Ha Nam, there was a ceremony to officially launch the project "For mother and baby - For Vietnamese stature." The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Confederation of Labor of the two provinces Ha Nam and Vinh Phuc are the project's implementing partners with the support of Golden Choice Company, Hoa Linh Pharmaceutical, and the financial support of TH Group.
