In parallel with increasing the provision of information in the online form through articles on Facebook and the website, in the 4th quarter of 2021 we also conducted relief activities related to Covid-19.
Specifically, we have given 400 gifts of essential necessities (such as rice, milk, cooking oil, salt, instant noodles, etc. with a value of 300,000 VND/gift) to 400 workers in Binh Duong province. They are workers in factories - industrial parks but have lost their jobs temporarily or have their wages cut because factories have to close to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic. Many people, or their loved ones, are infected with Covid, even die.
About the project proposal submitted to the initiative funded by the European Union through two social organizations, RED of Vietnam and Pro NGO! of Germany, we were not accepted for sponsorship because it did not match the criteria of the Organizing Committee. However, fortunately, we continue to receive the companionship of TH Group, Hoa Linh Pharmaceutical Company, Golden Choice Company and DKT International Organization to implement the next phase of the project. We will continue to call for the companionship of other organizations and individuals for more resources.
In terms of our plans for 2022, we will ramp up our activities online and will focus on supporting women and children affected by Covid-19. In addition, we will keep face-to-face operations limited and include only assisting workers in accessing health care and personal hygiene products.
Regarding contributions through GlobalGiving, during the period we received a total of 2 donations from 2 donors with a total value of 50 USD. We expect to continue to receive the companionship of sponsors in the near future.
