Due to the impact of the 4th outbreak of COVID-19 in Vietnam caused by the Delta mutation, the project activities scheduled to be implemented in Bac Giang province could not take place.
In order to adapt to the new situation to avoid the spread of Corona virus, we have converted project activities to online form. Specifically, we have written knowledge advice articles and posted them on our fanpage and website so that anyone anywhere can access the information. In particular, regarding COVID-19, we have enhanced relevant information such as the necessity of vaccination against COVID-19 for pregnant and lactating women, COVID-19 vaccine does not affect affect fertility, etc.
Regarding the plan for 2022, in order to better adapt to the new conditions to prevent the COVID-19 epidemic, we have just developed a project proposal to carry out activities in the form of completely online. This proposal has been submitted to an EU-funded initiative through two social organiztions, RED (Vietnam) and Pro NGO! (Germany). It is the initiative "Enhancing CSOs' Contribution to Governance and Development Process in Vietnam" (Win-Win For Vietnam - A cooperation mechanism between business sector and civil society organisations for corporate social responsibility and sustainable development goals in Vietnam"). We very much hope this project proposal will be approved for funding this November so that we can realize our goal.
Besides, we also hope to continue to receive the support of individual donors through GlobalGiving so that we have more resources to implement the project. We are very grateful that during the reporting period we received 3 grants from individual donors totaling 130 USD.
