This is a unique innovative project bringing different stakeholders together to help children with disabilities integrate into society gracefully and to raise awareness about the health needs of these children who are currently marginalized from mainstream healthcare system.
Children with disabilities in Pakistan are severely marginalized and socioeconomically abandoned leading to a vicious disease-poverty cycle. In Karachi alone,10,000+ kids with disabilities urgently need healthcare support. NAYA JEEVAN is changing this by providing them with affordable access to quality healthcare
Artwork will be exhibited and auctioned to generate funds for the healthcare of children with disabilities. Naya Jeevan through its partner underwriters will provide nationwide access to over 180 hospitals on a cash-less card basis.
a) The health fund generated will give concrete data about the health care expenditure patterns of children with disabilities. This will allow rigorous impact assessment and risk evaluation. b) 3000 children with disabilities will have cash-less card based health care coverage throughout Pakistan
