Healing Hands Foundation caters for those affected by GBV, women and children who are brought in by members of the SAPS, Social workers. We are in urgent need of a Microbus to transport these women and children to hospital, clinics, SAPS, Court for protection orders, cases and other referal organizations. We have 14 women and children at a time at our safe home. Sometimes we take them out to have some fun like to the restaurants, sea, animal farms to help forget about their problems. We take them out for training like care givers training, sewing classes, first aid clases, to empower these women so that when they leave they are in a position to take care of themselves as well as their children.
The Polo Vivo Healing Hands Foundation uses to transport clients at the moment is very small and can only transport 3 people at a time and we must do several trips to get everyone at once to a venue. Staff must also be transported at the same time like care givers. If anyone can help us reach our target to help the gbv victims of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro, we would be eternally grateful. Help us create a huge impact in the lives of our women and children and save lives of the most vulnerable people in society. evry little bit counts.
