After a successful childresn luncheon, we were able to focus on our lunch for the adults. We hosted on 21 December 2022.
Due to insufficient funding we were not able to provide everything we intended for the adults. We however were able to feed 180 vulnerable adults on the day. We hosted in Arcadia, a suburb in our Northern Areas where the economic levels are mostly below the breadline. We focused mainly on the elderly and where able to bring some joy to their day.
Even though we did not meet financial targets to host the vulnerable in the way we wanted to, we were still fortunate enough to have just enough funding to provide at least a filling meal for the day as well as dessert and juice.
Once again Continental Deli, were our heroes in sponsoring the food, desserts and the juices were sponsored by Shoprite.
