The school year has started and at the end of the month Science is Elementary will start its in-class program, bringing fabulous hands-on science activities to classrooms!
Supplies have been purchased, notebooks are ready to go, and schedules are set. We will reach over 5000 students this fall, including 200 new students and a new school. In September kindergarteners will learn that forces have size and direction, first graders will learn that all sound is caused by vibrations, and second graders will experiment with solids and liquids. Fifth graders will create models for maple tree seeds and learn how to ask testable questions.
Once activities start in the classroom, we will share photos. Stay tuned!
