Kisima children center is established to care for children from need families like orphans, street children, and those who are at risk of sexual abuse, early marriages, FGM, and those affected by broken marriages. We are able to support more than 500 children in East Africa by providing shelter, food, clothing, school fees, and many other humanitarian assistances. Since we started supporting children, some have completed university studies and are now employed.
Lack of jobs, HIV/AIDs, tribalism has resulted to many families not able to meet the basic family needs, that's why we are having many children running away from home for such of shelter and food in the streets, for some they find it difficult to share a single room with the parents who are unable to rent extra room for the grown up children so they are forced to run away. We are assisting some of the girls who have been having sex with their fathers, this happens when the mothers are away.
The center will accommodate these children and support them to acquire knowledge. By taking them to school and provide guidance of how they should take care of themselves even when they are away working. We have programs of monitoring all of the children within our centers we work crossly with other government institutions who are providing other necessary assistance needed for us to have our work done well. We are determined to make sure that every child within our center acquires knowledge.
We are in the process of purchasing land where we can build a center that will provide education for this children as from Nursery school up to secondary school with a health clinic to provided medical care in that same place we shall build staff houses to avoid pay the huge amount of money we are paying for house rents. We will establish some self staining income generating projects to support the center's needs and also to request the government and well wishers to support.
