Hand Pumps for Persons with Disabilities for WASH

NDF is raising funds through GlobalGiving campaign to ensure WASH facilities for persons with Disabilities under project "Hand Pumps for Persons with Disabilities for WASH-52404". Through this campaign NDF raised 2053 USD during different months & provided total 65 Hand pumps to familities with disabilities at flood hit areas of Nawabshah. The families were facilitated to get water at their door step, the poor family can not afford one own hand pump at their home, your kind donation became source to have their own hand pump, which is sign of dignity for the family to avoid dependency of water fetching from other homes. There is dire need to cover un-reachable poor & persons with disabilities, waiting for the WASH facility at their door step. Hand pumps are basic needs to get drinking water at home. Persons with disabilities face lot of difficulties when they have no source of water at home because of mobility issue to get water from neighbouring set up Hand Pumps or Public Hand Pumps. NDF decided to provide basic facility to persons with disabilities that persons with disabilities may access sweet drinking water at Home. The philanthropists are thanked who donated NDF $ 1224 through GlobalGiving which made it possible to bear expenses of 12 Handpumps for persons with disabilities in Nawabshah, Sindh Pakistan. Hope this funding will be sustainable to cover up beneficiaries for WASH facilities in Sindh.
