Donations like yours are an investment in the future of our climate and communities. On the one hand, planting fruit-bearing trees provides sustainable food security, fresh and organic produce, and significant long-term grocery savings. Environmentally, they improve air quality, provide shade, and support local biodiversity. On the other hand, native trees provide the vital food sources, shelter, and nesting habitats that local insects, birds, and mammals depend on for survival. Native species are uniquely adapted to our regional climate, giving them a much higher survival rate during extreme weather events. We are now in the midst of winter season. Winter days in Madagascar are usually dry, while nights and early mornings can become very crisp. Frost occasionally occurs in mountainous areas such as Tsaranoro valley. With deeper, stronger root systems, native trees improve soil health, prevent erosion, and better manage rainwater runoff compared to non-native species. We couldn't do this important work without partners like you. Thank you again for your extraordinary generosity. We look forward to achieving great things together!
