Thank you for your generous donation to the Haiti Crisis Relief Fund. Your support is making a real difference, enabling our partners to provide critical medical care, food, and economic opportunities to communities across Haiti during a challenging time.

Since we last updated you, donations to the Haiti Crisis Relief Fund have supported three high-impact, community-led nonprofits at the forefront of this crisis.

Here’s a message from one leader about the impact of your donation:

“The Grand-Anse region experienced several floods due to torrential rain. Thanks to this funding, our team will be able to provide on-site assistance to the people most affected.” -Concorde Haïtienne de Sécurité Alimentaire et Nutritionnelle

Here is a short description of some of the critical work you’ve supported:

  • Concorde Haïtienne de Sécurité Alimentaire et Nutritionnelle (CHSAN) isproviding food packages to children affected by malnutrition. In addition, they are raising awareness among pregnant women about the importance of food diversification and proper infant and child feeding practices. CHSAN is also distributing emergency relief items, such as hygiene kits and other essential aid, to thousands of families displaced by floods.
  • Foundation for Advancement of Haitian Midwives is offering resources and training to Haitian midwives, while also raising awareness in communities about reproductive health, nutrition, and climate resilience. As many hospitals and clinics have closed and violence continues to disrupt essential services, FAHM remains committed to meeting the needs of women and girls by delivering quality prenatal, neonatal, and maternal care.
  • Lambi Fund of Haiti is actively running several projects, including one focused on women's economic empowerment. Through this initiative, Lambi Fund provides funding and business skill-building opportunities to hundreds of women in Southern Haiti. The organization is also working to strengthen the food security of 110 members across six localities in southern Haiti by funding the purchase of seeds and agricultural equipment.

As you can see, your support of the GlobalGiving Haiti Crisis Relief Fund powers community-led responses, and it means organizations like these can get the critical resources they need to help their community adapt to the evolving humanitarian crisis across Haiti.

Neither we nor our partners can do this without your support. Thank you.

With gratitude,

Kyra + the GlobalGiving Team

About GlobalGiving’s Disaster Response

When a disaster strikes, recovery efforts led by people who live and work in affected communities are often overlooked and underfunded. GlobalGiving is changing this reality. Since 2004, we've been shifting decision-making power to crises-affected communities through trust-based grantmaking and support.

We make it easy, quick, and safe to support people on the ground who understand needs in their communities better than anyone else.

They were there long before the news cameras arrived, and they’ll be there long after the cameras leave. They know how to make their communities more resilient to future disasters, and they’re already hard at work. GlobalGiving puts donations and grants directly into their hands. Because the status quo—which gives the vast majority of funding to a few large organizations—doesn’t make sense.
